Community Manager (FMCG) at MediaMonks LDN

Now, about the opportunity: We are looking for a qualified Community Manager to join our social media team to be responsible for developing the social content across a range of brands, including a leading CPG brand. You should be a social media-savvy professional, experienced in oral and written communication skills, able to develop engaging content. You should be a ‘people person’ with great customer service skills and the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with our community. Ultimately, you should be able to act as the face and voice of our brand and manage all social content and community communications.
In this role you will:
- Define and implement social media and communication campaigns that align with marketing strategies.
- Coordinate with Marketing, PR and Communications teams to ensure brand consistency.
- Provide engaging text, image and video content for social media accounts.
- Respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner.
- Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews.
- Conduct daily analysis of conversation around the brand and generate responses that meet the objectives of the brand.
- Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends.
- Liaise with social platform Development and Sales departments to stay updated on new products and features.
- Understand social platforms and trends in real time to trigger new ideas and proposals for campaigns.
- Build relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals and journalists.
Experience you already have:
- English as a mother tongue.
- A digital native, active across social platforms.
- 3+ years of proven work experience as a community manager for CPG / retail accounts.
- Experience in developing or implementing community management strategies.
- Experience of developing exciting social executions for brands.
- Knowledge of managing CMS’s and reading media plans.
- Knowledge of social metrics, tools and digital reports.
- An obsession for understanding consumer behaviour, and adapting content plans to address the needs of the community.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A great team player.
