The Director of Growth or Growth Monk role is a mid-senior sales role and as such, requires demonstrated experience creating business relationships with mid-level and executive level buyers. These Monks have demonstrated success in a measured and commission driven compensation model, with a history of achieving lead conversion and revenue targets. They have demonstrated leadership experience in a business development role with demonstrated success strategic account development. Monks in this role have experience managing a budget and architecting, designing and selling complex deals. They have a passion for customer service and an extremely strong closing capability.

The Growth Monk may have one or more focus areas including pillars, industry verticals, clients, etc. Focuses are used internally to structure resource dedication and to identify and facilitate cross geography teams for sourcing, scoping, pitching winning and growing prospective opportunities and client relationships.
The Growth Monk is responsible for the acquisition of new clients and the further development of current clients, within the region. The primary measurement of success for this role is defined by achieving revenue targets as set forth by the Regional Head of Growth Monk. The Growth Monk is responsible for:
- Pipeline development and customer acquisition activities, including direct sales, co-selling with growth team leadership, managing directors and partner growth monks.
- Adhering to our MMEE SLA to develop and prospect inbound leads
- Identifying areas of new opportunity within current client relationships and designing strategies with the Regional Head of Growth and market leadership to expand within the account
- Identifying, developing and prospecting cold leads
- Working with the production teams on prospective deals to ensure accurate bids, compelling value propositions and a frictionless a deal environment.
- Designing, tracking and sustaining an approved monthly budget, including monthly reporting to Regional Head of Growth.
- You have at least 5 years in consultative sales roles, preferably in a service industry.
- This senior-level role requires someone who understands the objectives of Latin American companies and the emerging digital ecosystem in Argentina and the region.
- You have the experience of leading the creation of proposals for complex deals and projects
- With the backing of our producers and tech directors, you need to be confident in advising clients as an authority on advertising production, sometimes even at the C-level.
- You have a passion for the technology and innovation markets and are adept at following trends and speaking about their impact in on companies and products.
- Fluid written and spoken English is vital for communicating effectively with colleagues and clients alike.
- With strong presentation skills, you can represent MediaMonks by showcasing our cases, capabilities and culture in client meetings.
