About the Job

As part of our mighty Animation & Motion Graphics department, you’ll create 2D and 3D animations for amazing projects, producing work for one of our most beloved brands.
The job’s a mix of modelling, shading and animating in C4D and a solid motion graphics (AFX) base.
You work as part of a fully integrated production operation, with 600+ Monks from all production disciplines working together to craft awesome work.
This means you can team up with world-class developers to work on interactive projects, or collaborate with top-notch artists and illustrators to achieve a specific style.

Requirements

For this Sr position, we are looking for a 3D generalist animator with 5+ years of experience in C4D, and 3+ years experience in motion graphics AFX.
OTOY experience is a big plus!
You can produce drop-dead gorgeous animations, even under skinny jeans-tight deadlines.
After effects, Photoshop and Illustrator are a must.
In addition to animating awesome 3D scenes, you can also create styleframes in a wide variety of styles from concept to execution.
When it comes to animating, you know how to get the principal details right, or break ’em for artistic effect.
Next to language of motion, you can make yourself clear in English too.
However, the job’s not only about technical artistry. To excel in this role, you have to be a team player skilled in communicating problems and progress, as well as being practiced in working together with juniors and seniors alike.
Having a multidisciplinary set of skills across the creative process, such as storyboarding, scripting, character design, illustration and even sound design/audio mixing, are a big plus as well
